Closest Lodging Options to the Park
The Carlsbad Caverns National Park is located about twenty miles south of Carlsbad, New Mexico. The entire area is surrounded by the Guadalupe Mountains and the Chihuahuan Desert, which, in conjunction with the 116 caves that make up the Carlsbad Caverns, draws visitors from all over the world. Lodging for the area will mostly be found in the town of Carlsbad, but there are options that are closer.
White's City Walnut Inn is probably the closest hotel to Carlsbad Caverns, as it is located about seven miles from the park entrance. Guests of the hotel will be delighted in the many amenities that are available during leisure time. There is a water park on the premises, which can keep families entertained for hours on end. Every room has cable television with several premium channels, and many of the rooms also offer wireless Internet access. There are two restaurants within walking distance, and White's City also has an ice cream stand and a miniature golf course.
The Best Western Stevens Inn is another quality hotel in the vicinity. This accommodation is located in Carlsbad, New Mexico, which puts it nearly twenty miles from the entrance of the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Every room at the Best Western Stevens Inn includes a refrigerator, a microwave, and cable television with premium channels.
